This is a really classy Masterbuilt Strat and a spec that feels very well judged throughout. Fiesta Red and rosewood is always a brilliant combination on a ’60s-style Strat, but the details here lift it further. The bare wood neck back feel should make it especially comfortable in the hand, and the AAA flat-lam rosewood board gives it that extra bit of premium appeal you want on a Masterbuilt piece. I also really like the Tomatillo set here, because they tend to give a Strat a bit more push and authority without losing the openness and character that makes a good Fender single-coil guitar so addictive. Add in the 10" radius and 6105 fretwire and it ends up being a very player-friendly Custom Shop build without moving too far away from the vintage idea. A very attractive and very usable Masterbuilt Strat.

 

Mint condition. Factory Heavy Relic finish as part of the original Masterbuilt spec. No additional wear of note beyond the intentional ageing.
