Personal Thoughts:
This isn't just any Andy Hicks Strat—this was hand-selected by Fender for NAMM 2024 and later acquired by Sweetwater alongside two other standout pieces. Fender only sends their finest Masterbuilts to NAMM, and this one is the definition of “best of the best.”
The Poblano pickups are some of Josefina Campos' most expressive and raw-sounding Strat sets, especially when paired with the subtly aged Aztec Gold finish and that beautifully figured AA flame maple neck. The compound radius and 6105 frets make it a dream to play, with vintage feel and modern ease.
Only used for a few studio recordings, this guitar is virtually new. A true collector’s piece with zero issues and full custom shop provenance.
Condition Report:
Mint condition – barely played, collector-kept. Includes original hardcase, untouched case candy, and COA. No fret wear, no marks, perfect setup.
