This is a really classy Masterbuilt Strat and a spec that feels very well judged throughout. Candy Apple Red and rosewood is always a brilliant combination on a ’62-style Strat, and on a Masterbuilt guitar like this it has exactly the right mix of elegance and attitude. The Levi Perry build aspect is a big plus as well, and the overall spec keeps it firmly in that sweet spot between vintage feel and real-world usability. The AAA flat-lam rosewood board, bare wood neck back feel and Tomatillo set are all particularly nice touches. The Tomatillos should give it a bit more push and authority than a more traditional low-output set, while still keeping the openness and character you want from a really good Strat. Add in the 9.5" radius and 6150 fretwire and it ends up being a very player-friendly Custom Shop build without losing the core vintage appeal. A very attractive and very usable Masterbuilt Strat.

Mint condition. Factory relic finish as part of the original Masterbuilt spec. No additional wear of note beyond the intentional ageing.
