Personal Thoughts:
This is an absolutely stunning example of John Cruz’s work before his departure from Fender. The relic work is tastefully done—worn in all the right places without feeling overdone, giving it the broken-in feel of a true vintage player. The tone is pure vintage Strat: bell-like highs, spanky mids, and a warmth in the neck position that sounds beautifully aged. There’s a tactile feel to the neck that only a Masterbuilt seems to achieve—lightly rolled edges, the right amount of resistance, and a sense of playability that makes you not want to put it down.
 
For collectors, it’s a pre-departure John Cruz, which is significant in its own right. But more importantly, for players, it’s a workhorse built with a ridiculous level of finesse and soul. Whether you're into SRV-style licks, Hendrix swells, or just rich clean tones—it’s all there.

Mint condition. Marks, dents, are all factory distressed and no fretwear. Comes with all original case candy, spec sheet, COA, and the original Custom Shop case. A rare opportunity to grab a collectible Masterbuilt Strat in a killer colourway.
