This is one of the more interesting Parallel Universe models Fender did, because it really does feel like a proper mash-up rather than just a cosmetic variation. The Uptown Strat takes the familiar Strat silhouette and gives it a much more Gibson-like flavour with the mahogany body and neck, shorter 24.75" scale, block-inlaid rosewood board and twin humbucker setup. That changes the feel of the guitar quite a lot, and in a good way. It should have a slightly thicker, warmer response than a standard Strat, but still keep some Fender snap and familiarity thanks to the body shape and trem. I also like the separate volume and tone controls for each pickup, which make it feel a bit more sophisticated than a normal two-humbucker Strat-style guitar. Static White is a great colour on this model as well, giving it a classy custom look that suits the more upmarket spec nicely.

Excellent condition. There are a few tiny impressions from use, but nothing major. Overall it presents very cleanly and remains a very tidy example.
