This is a seriously cool mid-’70s Telecaster Deluxe with the unmistakable combination of dual Wide Range humbuckers, four-control layout and oversized Strat-style headstock. The Cherry Red refinish gives it a far bolder appearance than the more familiar period finishes, while the rosewood fingerboard adds a darker and slightly more unusual look to the classic Deluxe format.

The original Wide Range humbuckers are a major part of the appeal, offering a broad, clear and articulate voice that sits somewhere between a traditional Fender single coil and a conventional humbucker. They have plenty of warmth and authority but retain the definition and attack that makes the Telecaster Deluxe such a distinctive instrument. The professional refret also makes this a much more practical vintage guitar for regular playing, without affecting the originality of the remaining components.

An honest vintage example with the important original hardware and electronics still intact, combined with sympathetic work that allows it to be enjoyed properly rather than treated purely as a collector’s piece.

Very good vintage condition. The guitar has been professionally refinished in Cherry Red and has received a replacement fret set. All other parts are understood to be original, including the Wide Range humbuckers, hardware and electronics. Expected age-related marks, finish wear and signs of use are present. Supplied with an aftermarket Fender hardshell case.
