This is one of the most instantly recognisable signature Les Pauls Gibson has ever produced. The Bullseye finish, ebony board and gold hardware give it a huge amount of visual presence, and it is a model that has become inseparable from Zakk Wylde’s image and sound.

The ebony fingerboard gives the guitar a fast, crisp response, while the traditional mahogany/maple Les Paul construction provides plenty of weight, sustain and midrange authority. The EMG 81/85 set pushes the guitar firmly into high-output territory, with a tight low end, aggressive attack and strong note definition under heavy gain.

Despite the bold appearance, it is still fundamentally a Les Paul Custom underneath, with the substantial feel, premium appointments and unmistakable single-cut voice that come with that platform. These earlier Art & Historic examples have become increasingly desirable, particularly when they remain clean and original.

A proper collector’s Zakk model, but still very much a guitar designed to be played loud.

Very Good condition. There are a few minor impressions from careful use along with some light natural nitrocellulose lacquer checking. Nothing significant, and overall the guitar presents very cleanly for its age with no major wear or damage to mention.
