This is a really cool SG Special and one of the best-value shapes in Gibson’s Custom Shop lineup when the spec is right. The early-’60s double cut design already gives it loads of attitude, but the Classic White finish makes it feel that bit more special and a bit less common than the usual cherry route. The lightning bar wraparound and twin P-90 setup is a huge part of the appeal too, because that combination gives these guitars a really raw, lively and direct voice with loads of bite and midrange character. There is not much unnecessary going on here, and that is exactly why guitars like this work so well. A very classy Custom Shop SG and a great-looking example.

Excellent condition. There is some very minor nitro checking near the binding, but otherwise it is a very clean example overall.
