This is a seriously special ES-355 and the combination of the limited 1 of 50 production run and Aged Pelham Blue finish gives it huge collector appeal. The colour works brilliantly on the larger semi-hollow body, especially against the gold hardware, multi-ply binding and block inlays, giving the guitar a much more striking look than the usual Cherry or Ebony examples.

The ES-355 is essentially the most luxurious version of Gibson’s classic semi-hollow platform, and this one leans heavily into that feel. The mahogany neck, rosewood board and late-’50s-inspired carve give it a substantial but familiar feel, while the centre-block construction keeps the guitar focused and controllable at higher volumes without losing the openness and resonance associated with a good ES model.

The Pelham Blue has that slightly softened, vintage appearance that suits the period styling perfectly, while the hardware and finish treatment make it feel far more like an old custom-colour Gibson than a pristine modern reissue.
