Personal Thoughts:
This 2023 Gibson Custom Shop '64 ES-335 is a killer example of what Gibson does best when it comes to vintage reissues. The VOS finish is beautifully done, with just the right level of soft ageing and patina for a played-in look without the relic treatment. The neck profile is super comfy—classic '64 C—offering enough meat for those who like a chunkier feel, but not so thick it slows you down. The unpotted Custombuckers sing with clarity and depth, and the semi-hollow resonance makes this a go-to for blues, jazz, and classic rock.
Condition Report:
Excellent overall with only very faint surface swirling in the light. No major dings or fretwear. Case and COA included. A clean, high-end player or collector’s piece.
