This is a really cool take on the classic ’68 Les Paul Custom Shop formula.

Most ’68 reissues are seen in the traditional Goldtop finish, so seeing one in Inverness Green instantly makes this stand out. It’s a colour Gibson only uses occasionally, and on a Les Paul it looks particularly striking — deep green with subtle metallic character depending on the light.

The P90 configuration gives this guitar a completely different voice compared to the usual humbucker Les Paul. There’s loads of bite and clarity, with that slightly raw edge that P90s are famous for. Clean tones have a lovely woody sparkle, while pushing an amp brings out that aggressive midrange growl.

The ’68 Medium C neck carve is comfortable and balanced, sitting somewhere between the chunkier ’50s profiles and slimmer ’60s shapes. It’s a really easy neck to get along with.

Overall it’s a fantastic Custom Shop Les Paul that combines classic construction with a much rarer finish and the unmistakable character of P90 pickups.

Mint condition throughout. Very lightly used with no notable marks or wear. Frets are excellent, the neck is straight and electronics function perfectly.

Complete with original Gibson Custom Shop hard case, certificate of authenticity and tags.
