Personal Thoughts:
Lucille isn’t just a guitar—it’s a legacy. This Custom Shop example from 2012 represents the pinnacle of what a semi-hollow can be: warm, articulate, and absolutely dripping in soul. The absence of F-holes helps reduce feedback while preserving the airy resonance, and the TP-6 tailpiece lets you dial in your tuning with surgical precision.
Of particular note is the elegant crown inlay on the headstock—a subtle nod to B.B.'s "King of the Blues" moniker. It pairs beautifully with the split diamond and block inlays for a regal aesthetic that matches the guitar’s tone and history.
Condition Report:
Excellent condition overall. There’s some minor hardware fading on the gold parts, as expected for the year, but no dings or dents of note. Frets are in great shape, electronics are fully functional, and the guitar has clearly been well cared for.
