This is a very cool Junior and one that has loads of character. The ’57 single cut Juniors are great guitars anyway, because the whole appeal is in the simplicity — slab mahogany body, chunky neck, one dog-ear P-90 and a wraparound bridge. There is nothing unnecessary in the design, and that is exactly why they tend to feel so direct, lively and addictive to play. What really sets this one apart though is the finish and the ageing. The Vintage Tobacco Burst gives it a much moodier, more unusual look than the standard TV or cherry route, and the aftermarket ageing has clearly been done to a very high standard. Chad Underwood’s work is well regarded, and when it is done properly like this it can really elevate the overall feel of the guitar rather than just making it look artificially worn. The Chad Underwood ageing has been executed to a very high standard and really suits the guitar.

Excellent condition. Professionally aftermarket aged by Chad Underwood to a very high standard. The finish and overall presentation look superb, with the ageing adding loads of visual character. Overall a very tidy and striking example.
