Personal Thoughts:
This one has all the class and authority you’d expect from a Les Paul Custom, with that iconic Alpine White finish now mellowed into a gorgeous banana pudding cream tone. No nitro checking, which is rare for the year, and it’s in great shape overall — just a few minor impressions and some light staining in places that give it character, not distraction.
It’s the kind of Custom that feels perfectly broken in without any of the drawbacks — all the smooth sustain, clarity, and punch that makes these guitars timeless on stage and in the studio.
Condition Report:
Excellent condition. No checking, only light impressions and mild discoloration in spots from age. Frets are clean, setup is solid, and hardware shows minimal wear. A fine example from the late 2000s Custom Shop era.
