Personal Thoughts:
This 2016 “Centipede Burst” is one of Gibson Custom’s rarest and most talked-about modern finishes—impossible to confuse with anything else in their catalogue. The green-meets-gold iridescent flame top earns it its name and makes it feel like something out of a private artist series. These were built with an eye toward collectability, and this example has lived the collector life—kept boxed, babied, and unplayed. It’s a showstopper, but still every bit a Les Paul Custom under the hood, with thunderous lows and a tight, vocal midrange courtesy of the Custom Buckers.
 
Condition Report:
Exceptional condition. Zero playwear or marks on the body or neck. Some gentle fading on the gold hardware as expected from age and storage, but otherwise this has been kept in collector-grade condition and remains showroom clean.
