This is exactly the sort of M2M Axcess Widow that stands out straight away. The big appeal here is obviously the finish, and from your description it sounds especially good in person, with that blue sparkle overcoat and colour shift effect giving it a much more dramatic look than a normal metallic blue. That sort of finish works brilliantly on the Widow format, because the whole point of these is that they feel more striking and more modern than a standard Les Paul. The spec helps that as well. The weight-relieved mahogany body, sculpted heel and Apex neck carve should make it feel faster and easier in the hand than a more traditional Les Paul Custom-style build, while the ebony board, block inlays and multi-ply top binding keep it firmly in that high-end Custom Shop lane. I also think the 490R and 498T set makes good sense here, as it gives the guitar a bit more punch and attitude to match the look, and the push-pull coil splits add some extra flexibility without overcomplicating things. The fact the blue shimmer carries into the headstock lacquer just finishes it off properly. A real looker and the sort of M2M build that actually feels special rather than just slightly different.
