This 2025 Made to Measure '57 Les Paul Custom in Double Gold is a modern classic with vintage bones. The mahogany body and maple top combo adds clarity and snap to the Les Paul’s legendary warmth, while the gloss nitro finish brings out the depth and richness of the gold without the heavy relic treatment.
Tonally, this one punches hard. The overwound Classic ’57 in the bridge has bite and boldness for rock and lead work, while the underwound neck pickup is open and articulate, great for clean passages and expressive blues lines. It’s a beautifully balanced set that takes full advantage of the guitar’s tonewood pairing.
