This is a really appealing spec because it takes the punch and immediacy of a '56 Goldtop-style recipe and gives it a much more unusual visual twist with the Slow Iced Tea Fade top. The big draw on these, for me, is the combination of the flamed maple top and the P-90 layout. You get a guitar that looks more like something from the later burst world, but sonically it keeps that rawer, more open midrange attack that makes a good P-90 Les Paul so addictive. The Carmelita carve is also worth calling out, as it tends to give these a more substantial and vintage-correct feel in the hand, while the medium jumbo fretwire makes them a bit friendlier for modern players than some stricter reissue specs. Add in the Murphy Lab Ultra Light treatment and it ends up feeling classy rather than overdone. A very cool Custom Shop build that stands out without losing the old-school Les Paul character.

As new condition. Murphy Lab Ultra Light ageing is factory correct as part of the original spec. No additional wear of note beyond the intentional factory ageing.
