This is a seriously cool spec and a very unusual take on the early Les Paul Custom formula. The staple neck pickup is a big part of what makes it feel properly special too. That pickup tends to bring a clearer, more hi-fi, almost piano-like response in the neck position compared with a standard soapbar, while the bridge soapbar keeps plenty of bite and rawness. Combined with the ebony board, Custom appointments and Murphy Lab Heavy Aged treatment, it gives the guitar a really distinctive identity — part classy Custom, part aggressive old-school P-90 machine. The Silverburst finish just pushes it even further away from the usual Black Beauty route and makes it feel like a genuinely interesting M2M build rather than a simple cosmetic twist.

Excellent condition. Murphy Lab ageing is factory correct as part of the original spec. Aside from the intentional ageing, it presents very cleanly overall with only light signs of handling and use.
