This is a seriously elegant SG Custom and one of the most visually striking variants Gibson has produced. The Classic White finish, ebony fingerboard, gold hardware and three-pickup layout give it that unmistakable high-end Custom look, while the Maestro Vibrola adds even more period-correct presence.

The three-humbucker configuration gives the guitar a broader and more muscular tonal character than a conventional two-pickup SG, with plenty of midrange authority and sustain. The ebony board adds a little extra snap and definition, while the slim early-’60s-style neck profile keeps the playing feel fast and comfortable.

The VOS treatment suits this specification perfectly, taking the edge off the bright white finish and gold hardware so the guitar feels more like a gently aged vintage piece than a pristine modern reissue. A really classy Custom Shop SG with strong collector appeal and a much rarer specification than the standard two-pickup model.

Excellent condition. The light finish ageing and hardware patina are part of Gibson Custom’s original VOS treatment rather than subsequent damage. Beyond that, the guitar presents very cleanly overall with only light signs of careful use and no significant wear or damage to mention.
