Personal Thoughts:
This Custom Shop Firebird V is a rare special order from 2002 that combines vintage flair with modern functionality. The Cardinal Red finish looks killer paired with the red-logo pickguard, and the swapped-in Bare Knuckles take the tone to another level—open, articulate, and full of punch. It's got that big, raunchy Firebird attitude, but with a tighter low end and improved clarity.
The chunky ‘59 neck profile fits beautifully in the hand and makes for an addictive playing experience. The stop tail and ABR-1 setup give much better tuning stability and intonation than vintage specs ever allowed. It’s one of those guitars that feels like a sleeper—vintage-inspired, but secretly a monster.
 
Condition Report:
Excellent condition. Just very faint signs of play—no dings or significant wear. Frets are clean, neck is perfect, and the hardware still shines. The case is clean, and it includes the original COA.
