This is an outrageous Les Paul Axcess Custom and one of the most visually dramatic builds from Gibson’s Greatest Hits Collection. The Peacock Widow finish is the immediate highlight, with the deep blue colour working beautifully across the AAA figured maple top and creating a bold, almost exotic appearance. Paired with the ebony fingerboard, pearl appointments and Custom styling, it feels luxurious, aggressive and completely removed from a conventional Les Paul finish.

The Axcess construction makes it a much more player-focused instrument than a traditional Les Paul Custom. The sculpted heel provides far easier access to the upper frets, while the familiar mahogany and maple construction retains the sustain, weight and authority expected from the format. The 496R and 498T pickup pairing delivers a powerful modern Gibson voice, with a clear, focused neck sound and a hotter bridge response suited to driven rhythm and lead work. Individual push/pull coil splits add useful brighter textures, making the guitar far more versatile than its aggressive appearance might suggest.
