The mid-’90s Nashville-built ES-335 Dot Reissues are excellent guitars and, in my opinion, very much the ones people should be looking at. They have a really strong reputation for build quality, feel and consistency, and a lot of players prefer them to many of the later Memphis examples. This one should sit right in that sweet spot. Vintage Sunburst is of course the classic look for a 335, and the dot neck keeps it nicely understated and true to the original formula. The spec is exactly what you want too — laminated maple body, solid center block, mahogany neck and a good humbucker setup gives you that warm, open, woody semi-hollow voice that makes a great 335 so hard to beat. A very desirable Nashville-era ES-335 and exactly the sort of one people tend to hang onto.
Condition Report
Excellent condition. Presents very cleanly overall with only light signs of use. A very tidy Nashville-built example.
