This is a particularly cool variation on the Les Paul Standard ’50s, combining the familiar maple-on-mahogany construction with a pair of P-90s rather than the conventional humbuckers. The Gold finish suits the specification perfectly, giving the guitar a darker, slightly more understated vintage appearance alongside the cream plastics and rosewood board.

The ’50s Vintage neck profile gives it a substantial, traditional feel in the hand, while the 12" radius and medium-jumbo frets keep it comfortable and straightforward to play. The aluminium stop bar and ABR-1 bridge complete a very classic Les Paul recipe.

The P-90s are what really give this guitar its personality. They retain plenty of the thickness and midrange associated with a Les Paul, but add more bite, openness and immediacy than a humbucker. Clean tones have excellent clarity and character, while pushing an amp brings out the raw, vocal growl that makes a good P-90-equipped Les Paul so addictive.
