This is a superb Japanese-built White Falcon and one of the most instantly recognisable Gretsch designs ever made. The Vintage White finish, gold hardware, oversized bound body and ebony fingerboard give it that unmistakable high-end Falcon look, while the Bigsby completes the classic specification.

The ebony board and 25.5" scale give the guitar a slightly firmer, more articulate response than many shorter-scale hollowbodies, while the Filter’Tron pickups keep things clear, punchy and focused. There is plenty of chime and definition for cleaner work, but enough midrange and bite to handle rockabilly, blues and more driven tones without becoming woolly.

The MIJ Gretsch guitars from this period are exceptionally well put together, and the White Falcon sits right at the top of that range. A beautifully finished, highly distinctive hollowbody that feels every bit as special as it looks.

Mint condition. Presents exceptionally well overall with no noteworthy marks, fret wear or signs of use to mention. Supplied with its original Gretsch hardshell case and associated documentation.
