This is a really classy Gretsch and a lovely variation on the classic Nashville formula. The Orange Stain finish with the gold hardware gives it that unmistakable Gretsch look, but the Hilo’Tron pickup set is what makes this one especially interesting. They tend to have a slightly brighter, more open and snappier voice than a Filter’Tron-loaded model, which gives the guitar a really distinctive feel and suits rock ’n’ roll, country, indie and cleaner rhythm work brilliantly. The ebony board, thumbnail inlays and Bigsby setup keep it firmly in that high-end Gretsch lane as well, and the whole spec just feels very well judged. A very handsome MIJ hollow body and a great choice for someone wanting a Gretsch with a bit of extra clarity and chime.

Excellent condition. Presents very cleanly overall with only light signs of use.
