This 2021 Stephen Stern Masterbuilt Triple Jet Relic is an incredibly rare find, especially in the UK, and it’s a true showcase of Gretsch’s finest craftsmanship. The Olympic White finish combined with the intricate relic job gives this guitar an authentic, well-worn vintage look that is both eye-catching and full of character. The relic work is outstanding—subtle wear patterns, lacquer checking, and light aging on the hardware, making it look and feel like it’s been gigged for decades while still playing flawlessly.
Ben is absolutely in love with this guitar, and for good reason. He’s been raving about the feel of the neck and the overall playability. According to him, the balance between the chambered mahogany body and the rosewood fingerboard creates a resonant, rich tone that is both warm and punchy.
