Personal Thoughts
Heritage guitars have become a serious alternative to Gibson’s Custom Shop instruments, and the Custom Core H-150 is their flagship single cut.
Built in the original Kalamazoo factory by many of the craftsmen who once worked for Gibson, these guitars carry a real sense of heritage and tradition.
The Ebony finish gives this example a classic Les Paul Custom-style aesthetic — understated, elegant and timeless. Paired with the rosewood board and aged hardware it has that slightly broken-in vintage feel straight out of the case.
Tonally the H-150 delivers everything you’d want from a great single cut. Thick, sustaining humbucker tones with plenty of clarity and bite when pushed.
Build quality on the Custom Core series is exceptional. The carving, finishing and overall feel of the instrument are genuinely top tier.
For players looking for a high-end Les Paul-style guitar with impeccable craftsmanship, Heritage are producing some of the best instruments available today.
Condition Report
Mint condition with virtually no signs of use beyond the factory ageing. Frets are excellent, neck is straight and electronics function perfectly.
