The JEM7V is one of those guitars that is instantly recognisable and still feels properly special every time you pick one up. By 2006, the spec had landed in a really strong place too, with the rosewood board, 5-piece maple/walnut neck, Edge Pro trem and full Evolution HSH set making it a very refined version of the classic Vai formula. The 24 frets, flatter radius and Prestige-level neck work are a huge part of why these play so well, and the Tree of Life inlay, gold hardware and pearloid guard give it that unmistakable high-end JEM look. It is also worth saying that condition matters massively on these. A clean 2006 example that has been well looked after is always going to be more appealing, especially when the frets still only show very light wear and look comfortably away from needing major work. The JEM7V’s core 2005–2006 spec, including the rosewood board, 5-piece maple/walnut neck, Edge Pro bridge and Evolution pickups, is consistent across multiple model references.

Excellent condition. One or two very minor impressions are present, but overall it has clearly been very well looked after. Frets show only very light playwear and still appear a long way off needing a refret or any serious attention. Overall a very tidy and well-preserved example for the year.
