This is a seriously striking Tyler and exactly the sort of build that shows why the brand has such a loyal following. The Transparent Royal Blue finish is already a standout, but the amazing birdseye maple neck stained to match takes it to another level and gives the guitar loads of visual presence. It has all the hallmarks of a proper high-end Tyler too — swamp ash body, birdseye maple neck and board, rear-routed clean look, and that unmistakable mix of boutique craftsmanship and slightly over-the-top California attitude. I also really like the electronics package here. The JTS5500 singles with the Super humbucker, midboost preamp and neck-plus-bridge option gives the guitar a huge range of sounds, so it is not just about looks. A very cool USA Tyler and a seriously classy example.
