This is a very cool boutique semi-hollow and one that clearly leans into the golden-era ES formula, but with a more refined small-builder feel. The spec sheet is strong in all the right places: laminated maple construction with a centre block, mahogany neck, rosewood board, 24 3/4" scale, and a proper chunky C carve. That tends to give these guitars the warmth and bloom people want from a vintage-style semi, but with enough substance in the neck to feel like a serious instrument rather than a flimsy retro reissue. I also like the fact that Josh Williams keeps the Mockingbird to a true semi-hollow format with pressed top, back and sides and a 16" lower bout, because that tells you this is meant to capture the feel of a classic 335-style guitar rather than just vaguely resemble one. The Pelham Blue finish with the dark wood guard looks superb too — classy, slightly unusual, and a bit more distinctive than the usual sunburst route. With the Bigsby on board, this one has even more personality.
