This is a really cool custom build by Karl Longbottom, and exactly the sort of guitar that makes a lot of sense for someone who wants the familiarity of a Strat-style platform but with a more individual look and feel than the usual big-brand options. Karl Longbottom builds have always had a good reputation for being serious player’s instruments, and this one has a really tasteful spec throughout.

The Racing Green finish works brilliantly with the tortoiseshell guard, and paired with the flamed maple neck it gives the guitar a classy, understated look. It feels custom without trying too hard. The HSS layout is also a very sensible choice, especially with the Radioshop pickups, as it should give you proper vintage-style single coil character in the neck and middle, with a bit more authority and push from the bridge when you want it. A very attractive and very usable UK custom build.

Overall this guitar is in excellent condition and presents well. There are some light signs of use visible in places, including a few marks to the body, but nothing that detracts from how well it looks overall. Please study the photos carefully as they form part of the description.
