Personal Thoughts:
A truly exceptional vintage Martin. The craftsmanship, projection, and sustain are everything you'd expect from a top-tier pre-80s D-45. It's rare to find one in this condition—just a couple of light impressions here and there, but overall, it presents beautifully and plays with that classic, articulate Martin dreadnought tone.
This isn’t just a guitar; it’s a piece of American acoustic history that’s been immaculately preserved.
Condition Report:
Excellent condition for a 1979 example. A few very minor impressions but no cracks, or repairs. The top is beautifully aged, the neck is straight, frets are in excellent shape, and the tone is as rich and balanced as you’d hope for. Comes in a non-original Martin D-45 branded hardcase.
