This is a seriously striking Duvell Elite and a brilliant example of the ultra-modern craftsmanship Mayones has become known for. The Lava Burst finish is the obvious visual highlight, moving from a fiery amber centre into deep red and darker edges while allowing the highly figured maple top to remain clearly visible. The figuring has loads of movement across the body and suits the aggressive Duvell shape perfectly.

The Elite specification is built around precision and speed. The ebony fingerboard, 16" radius and 24 stainless-steel frets give it a fast and extremely clean playing feel, while the sculpted body and unrestricted upper-fret access make it particularly well suited to technical lead work. The HH electronics provide plenty of output and definition while still offering enough clarity for cleaner and more articulate sounds.

It is one of those guitars that manages to feel thoroughly modern without becoming clinical. The exotic top, deep burst finish and understated black hardware give it genuine Custom Shop presence, while the underlying construction is designed to be played hard. A superb high-end Mayones with both serious performance credentials and strong visual appeal.
