Novo continue to occupy a very special space in the modern boutique world, and the Miris H2 is a perfect example of why. It blends offset attitude, vintage inspiration and modern engineering in a way that feels intentional rather than nostalgic.
This Gold Top Gold finish is striking without being loud — bold, elegant, and unmistakably Novo. The light distressing adds character without crossing into gimmickry, allowing the guitar to feel played-in while remaining visually sharp.
Tonally, the semi-hollow swamp ash construction delivers snap, openness and air, while the Fralin Pure PAFs keep everything articulate and dynamic. These are true low-output, vintage-voiced humbuckers — responsive, touch-sensitive, and beautifully balanced across clean and driven sounds.
The neck is a standout. The tempered maple paired with an ebony board feels immediate and refined, with a slick response under the fingers. The compound radius and Jescar frets make this an effortlessly playable instrument across the entire neck, whether you’re digging in or playing lightly.
