Personal Thoughts:
The Miris J is Novo’s offset semi-hollow take on classic bolt-on designs — and it absolutely nails that balance between vintage soul and modern refinement. The semi-hollow swamp ash body keeps things lively and resonant, while remaining focused enough to handle gain beautifully.
The Lollartron pickups are a perfect match here: clear, harmonically rich, and incredibly touch-sensitive. Clean tones are wide and piano-like, while overdriven sounds retain definition without getting brittle. The Mastery bridge and vibrato elevate the whole experience — smooth feel, rock-solid stability, and a very musical response.
Inca Burst suits the Miris J perfectly. It’s understated, classy, and very much in the Novo wheelhouse — cool without trying too hard.
This is one of those guitars that feels immediately “right” the moment you pick it up.
