This is a really striking Novo and exactly the sort of Custom Series build that shows why these guitars have such a strong following. The Serus J already has a great shape and feel to it, but the Custom Series models always seem to have that extra bit of individuality and visual pull. The ’64 3-Tone Burst sounds especially cool here, because it gives the guitar a slightly familiar vintage offset flavour while still looking unmistakably Novo. The tempered pine body and tempered maple neck are a big part of the appeal too, as they tend to give these guitars a lively, resonant and very immediate feel. I also think the Fralin P-90 set is a perfect fit, because it gives the guitar loads of clarity, bite and midrange character without losing warmth. Paired with the Mastery hardware, it ends up being the sort of guitar that feels boutique and distinctive, but also very dependable and very usable. A very cool USA build and a great-looking example.

Mint condition. Presents exceptionally well overall, with no noteworthy wear to mention.
