Personal Thoughts:
This 2019 Novo Serus T is a prime example of why Novo has taken the boutique world by storm. Designed by Dennis Fano, the Serus T blends classic offset vibes with modern craftsmanship and killer tone.
The Ice Blue Metallic finish with light distressing gives it a beautifully worn-in look without going over the top. The tempered pine body and maple neck feel alive in the hands, resonant and lightweight, with a seriously inspiring character unplugged. The chunky “C” neck is incredibly comfortable—substantial without being too much, and the satin nitro finish makes it super fast and smooth.
Tonally, it’s a dream: the Lollar Gold Foil in the neck gives you airy, articulate tones with that unmistakable vintage chime, while the Special T in the bridge has the bite, twang, and punch you'd expect from a great Tele-style pickup—but with a little more body and depth thanks to the Novo build and hardware.
If you’re after a modern boutique build with a ton of personality and high-end components, this Serus T ticks all the boxes.
Condition Report:
This guitar is in excellent condition with only the light distressing from Novo’s factory relic work. No additional wear or damage. Frets are in perfect shape, setup is dialled in, and it plays flawlessly across the board.
