This is a very classy Macon and exactly the sort of build that shows why Patrick James Eggle guitars have such a strong reputation. The spec is spot on. A mahogany neck and body platform with a rosewood board and Mojo PAFs is always going to be a great starting point, but the thing that really elevates this one is the master grade maple top. In Denim Blue Burst it looks properly high end without becoming too flashy, and it gives the guitar a really elegant boutique feel. I also like the neck spec here. The fat “C” profile, 12" radius and medium tall Jescar frets should make it feel substantial and smooth in the hand, with that slightly more old-school single cut feel but still plenty of precision. The shorter 24 5/8" scale adds to that as well, giving it that slinkier, more relaxed response that suits this style of guitar so well. A really desirable high-end British build with a lovely balance of refinement, warmth and visual appeal.
