This is a beautifully specified Macon Singlecut 58 and a particularly classy example in Tobacco Burst. The flame maple top has loads of depth without looking overdone, while the darker burst around the perimeter gives the guitar a properly vintage-inspired feel. Against the ebony fingerboard and aged nickel hardware, the whole thing has a very sophisticated, understated look.

The specification is especially interesting thanks to the P-90 / humbucker pairing. The neck P-90 should give a more open, woody and immediate response than a traditional humbucker, while the bridge humbucker adds the extra push and sustain you would want for thicker rhythm and lead tones. It makes the guitar feel much broader in use than a conventional dual-humbucker single-cut.

The Fat C neck profile, 24.625" scale, 12" radius and Jescar 55090 frets all point towards a substantial but very playable vintage-inspired feel. Combined with PJE’s aged nitro treatment and high-end build quality, this is a superb British-made single-cut with plenty of character and a specification that stands apart from the usual Les Paul formula.

Mint condition beyond the intentional factory ageing. The checking, finish wear and aged hardware are all part of the original Nitro Aged specification rather than subsequent damage. No noteworthy additional wear, fret wear or issues to mention. Supplied with its original hardshell case, certificate of authenticity and associated documentation.
