Personal Thoughts:
The Custom 22 has long been one of PRS’s most versatile and expressive models, and this 2006 example in Trans Amber is a particularly stunning piece. The finish shows off the flame in the maple top beautifully—warm, vintage-inspired, and full of depth.
The wide thin neck feels solid in hand without being cumbersome, offering excellent sustain and a full tone. The Dragon II pickups strike a great balance between clarity and output—ideal for anything from classic rock and fusion to blues or pop. The rotary switch gives you access to a variety of coil-split tones and in-between options, making this guitar extremely adaptable.
With its tremolo bridge and solid build quality, this is the kind of guitar that inspires confidence whether you're recording, gigging, or just getting lost in your own playing at home.
Condition Report:
This 2006 PRS Custom 22 is in mint condition, with no dings, marks, or visible wear. The finish is rich and glossy, the frets are in excellent shape, and the electronics are clean and fully functional.
Includes the original PRS hardshell case, Hang tag, and case candy. A beautifully preserved example of a highly respected core-line PRS.
