Personal Thoughts:
This ‘92 Custom 24 captures the golden era of PRS—when every guitar coming out of the factory felt like a masterwork. The top on this one is especially striking, showing elements of flame, quilt, and burl that shift depending on the light. It’s classic Black Cherry through and through: rich, deep, and iconic.
The three way switch keeps things vintage and tonal flexibility is superb. There’s a slight rawness to early 90s PRS guitars that make them feel more connected to the player—resonant, snappy, and lively. It’s a proper workhorse and collector piece rolled into one.
Condition Report:
Excellent condition for its age. Minor playwear and a few small impressions in places, but overall very clean for a 30+ year-old instrument. Frets are in great shape, hardware shows only light natural aging. All original.
