This Wood Library Custom 24 is one of the most unique spec combinations — the flamed mahogany body paired with a flamed maple neck and a ziricote board gives it a boutique, Private Stock–adjacent feel. The satin Faded Denim Blue finish keeps it understated, lightweight, and fast in the hands, with that smooth, broken-in satin feel that players love.
Tonally, this is a lively and immediate Custom 24. The flamed mahogany body adds warmth and resonance, while the maple neck and ziricote board add snap, clarity and a piano-like attack. The 85/15 pickups are incredibly versatile: modern, articulate, wide frequency range, and they coil-split beautifully. Combined with the Pattern Thin carve, this is a fast, expressive and extremely playable CU24.
It’s a Wood Library build that really leans into premium woods rather than flashy gloss — elegant, tactile, and highly musical.
