This 2022 example, finished in the classic McCarty Sunburst and topped with a beautifully figured 10-Top flame maple cap, captures that perfect balance between old-school tone and contemporary playability.Tonally, the 58/15 LT pickups are warm, clear, and dynamic — articulate enough for studio work, yet rich and expressive when driven. They deliver authentic vintage PAF character with an open midrange and sweet top-end chime. The 594’s dual volume and push/pull tone controls offer an intuitive layout for blending and coil-splitting, unlocking both humbucking fullness and sparkling single-coil clarity.
The Pattern Vintage neck feels substantial without being bulky, designed for resonance and sustain while maintaining a silky, comfortable feel. Combined with the slightly shorter 24.594" scale length, it gives this guitar a slinkier, more expressive response — perfect for bending and phrasing.
