Personal Thoughts:
The McCarty 594 has become one of PRS’ most respected modern classics, and for good reason. The shorter 24.594" scale length gives this guitar a slightly softer, more elastic feel under the fingers, while the 58/15 LT pickups deliver a beautifully balanced vintage-leaning voice with excellent clarity and warmth.
The Aurora Borealis finish is understated but classy — one of those colours that looks subtle in low light and really comes alive under stage or studio lighting. Paired with the rosewood fingerboard, it has a timeless, grown-up aesthetic that suits the McCarty ethos perfectly.
