This is a seriously special McCarty 594 and one of the most distinctive limited-edition PRS builds released in recent years. The figured mango top has a completely different character from the more familiar maple option, with a flowing, organic grain that gives every example its own identity. Black Gold Burst suits it brilliantly, emphasizing the figuring without overwhelming it, while the ziricote fingerboard and matching headstock veneer add another layer of exotic detail.

Underneath the unusual timber choices, this remains the classic McCarty 594 formula: a slightly thicker mahogany body, vintage-inspired Pattern Vintage neck, 24.594" scale and PRS two-piece bridge. The McCarty III pickups deliver a warm and vocal humbucker sound, while the individual push/pull coil splits add useful single-coil-style clarity. Limited to only 200 guitars worldwide across the two available finishes, this is a highly collectible build that still retains all the feel, versatility and musicality that make the 594 such a strong all-round instrument.
