The Modern Eagle V is one of PRS’s most advanced and versatile designs, and this Wood Library build takes it to an entirely new level. The swamp ash body keeps the guitar open and resonant, while the flamed maple neck and fingerboard add incredible snap, brightness, and eye-catching beauty. The abalone bird inlays shimmer against the flame, making this a showpiece as much as a player’s guitar.
Tonally, the Modern Eagle V offers a staggering range. Between the TCI humbuckers, the narrowfield middle pickup, and the coil-split/blend switching, you can move seamlessly from authentic single-coil sparkle to fat humbucker drive, with a semi-hollow-like resonance courtesy of the swamp ash/maple pairing. Few guitars cover this much tonal ground so convincingly.
Finished in a stunning Violet Blue Burst and paired with PRS’s paisley carpet hard case, this is a rare and pristine Wood Library import, fresh from the supplier.
