This is a very desirable PRS and exactly the sort of Wood Library build that tends to stand out. The Custom 24 is already one of PRS’s strongest all-round models, but once you add a Wood Library spec and a finish like Burnt Maple Leaf, it starts to feel that bit more special. The figured maple top is clearly the big visual draw here, and on a colour like this it gives the guitar a much richer, more dramatic look than the standard catalogue finishes. Spec-wise, the Pattern Thin neck, 25" scale, 24 frets and Gen III trem make it a very easy guitar to get on with, while the 85/15 pickup set keeps things clear, powerful and versatile. The ebony board is a lovely touch too, as it adds a slightly sharper, more immediate feel and helps lift it further into that premium bracket. A very classy PRS that mixes modern playability with boutique-level visual appeal.
