This is a particularly strong Wood Library Custom 24 and the one-piece maple top is a major part of the appeal. Instead of the usual bookmatched centre seam, the figure runs uninterrupted across the body, giving the Slate Blue finish a much cleaner and more individual appearance. The ziricote fingerboard adds another layer of visual character, with its darker, more dramatic grain contrasting beautifully against the blue top.

The stained flame maple neck is another standout feature and makes this feel considerably more special than a conventional mahogany-neck Custom 24. Paired with the Pattern Thin carve, 25" scale and 24-fret layout, it retains the fast, familiar Custom 24 playing feel while the more exotic timber selection gives the guitar a distinctly boutique Wood Library character.

The 58/15 pickup set is a great match for the specification, offering a clear, open and articulate humbucker voice with plenty of detail and dynamic response. Combined with the 5-way switching, there is a wide range of usable tones available without overcomplicating the control layout.

A beautifully specified early Wood Library example with a rare one-piece top, stained figured maple neck and ziricote board — a very elegant and collectible Custom 24.

Excellent condition. Presents very cleanly overall with only light signs of careful use consistent with age. No significant wear or damage to mention. Supplied with its original PRS hardshell case and associated documentation.
