This Wood Library Studio is a standout example of how far PRS push their custom runs when given total freedom. The Jade Green finish over a deeply figured quilted maple top is genuinely striking — easily one of those guitars that stops you mid-scroll. The figuring is bold, consistent, and beautifully framed by the darker stain, with the Ziricote board and black hybrid hardware tying the whole look together perfectly.
Tonally, the Studio layout remains one of PRS’s most versatile and underrated configurations. The Narrowfield pickups deliver clarity, articulation, and punch without noise, while the bridge humbucker adds weight and authority when needed. From glassy cleans to thick, controlled drive tones, it covers an enormous amount of ground with ease.
The stained quilted maple neck feels fantastic in hand — smooth, fast, and visually just as impressive as the top. Paired with the ebony fingerboard, the response is immediate and precise, making this a guitar that feels equally at home in the studio or on stage.
A serious Wood Library build that balances showpiece aesthetics with real-world usability.
